Make your favourite treats healthy ..............with pumpkin

Chocolate chip cookies

Prepare your cookie recipe ,substituding pumkin puree for 1/2 the butter.  Bake as directed

Golden pound cake

In bowl,combine 1 box yellow cake mix, 1 pkg (3.4 oz) instatnt vanilla mix, 1 cup water.1/3cup pumpkin puree, 4 eggs bake according to directions for bundt cake.

Cheesecake swirl

Prepare your favourite brownie recipie(or 1 pkg(17oz)brownie mix substituding pumpkin puree for
1/2 cup oil or butter pour into pan. In bowl combine 1pkg(8oz) low fat cream cheese, 1 egg, 1/2 cup
sugar ,1/2 cup chopped peanuts and 1/4 pumpkin puree swirl the mixture through brownie batter. Bake as directed

And remember pumpkin keeps you slim and satisfied , it contains vitamin A and spurs skin cell renewal and collegan production, it also contains 8 grams of fibre nearly a third of our daily needs






Whip up your own hot chocolate mix:

1 plastic storage bag
1 cup powdered milk
1 cup sugar
3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1 tsp salt

Seal the bag and shake gently.    Voila   Instant hot cocoa mix.......add a few tbsp  to a mug ...top off with hot water or milk and stir.
